Diverxia Infrastructure and CEE Group have inaugurated the Antilia Solar Photovoltaic Plant, bringing to completion the 50MW project that the Valencian company has developed and built and sold a few months ago to the German fund participated by the Brookfield Group.
At the inauguration ceremony, held on July 18, the company’s CEO, José Luis Fayos, accompanied by the Managing Director, Paola Casseres, and part of the team that led the project throughout its development and execution, toured the 83 hectares occupied by the plant together with CEE Group.
The project, located in Puertollano (Ciudad Real), has an installation of 91,920 modules, 1,534 structures and 240 inverters. A structure that will enable the production of 103,494 MWh of clean energy each year, equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of 25,000 homes.
In this way, Antilia Solar will avoid the emission of 42,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere each year, adding efforts in the process of decarbonization of our country.
Jose Luis Fayos, CEO of the company, highlighted that “Antilia Solar is one more step in the line of work that Diverxia Infrastructure is carrying out and that allows us to continue consolidating ourselves as a first level company in the development of large renewable projects at a global level”.
“Our presence in the Spanish market continues to grow, as well as in the rest of Europe and the Americas. In fact, this photovoltaic plant, the first to be inaugurated in Castilla La Mancha in 2023, will be followed by new large-scale projects that we will soon be able to announce,” concluded the CEO.
For her part, the Managing Director thanked “the trust that CEE has placed in us to be able to carry out this project, the first to be carried out in Spain. As always, we have applied our highest standards to ensure the maximum quality of the project and from Diverxia we are very proud of the result after months of hard work”.
In this sense, Casseres also highlighted the importance of “having an excellent team, whose experience and flexibility allow us to ensure the execution of large-scale projects all over the world, adapting to the specific needs and characteristics of each new challenge”.
The Antilia Solar Photovoltaic Plant, whose works started in 2022 and finished in June 2023, is part of an important package of projects that Diverxia Infrastructure is carrying out both nationally and internationally.
As its CEO announced, the company continues its expansion process in 2023 with the execution of different projects to be located in Spain.
